Guest Speakers Announced for Industry Insight Series in Groom, Panhandle, and Claude, TX August 16th, 23rd, 30th

GROOM, TEXAS, AUG 8, 2024

State National Bank has announced the speaker lineup for its Industry Insight Series, focusing on Agriculture & Urban/Rural Affairs. The lineup includes Chris Furlow, CEO & President of Texas Bankers Association (TBA), Nicholas Hoyt, Founder of Easy Newz and AiQ, Lance Ollinger, Tilley, and AG & Rural Services Committee at TBA, and Briss Vankranenburg, Owner and President of Sunrise AG. 

The events will take place on the following dates and locations: 

  • August 16, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM at the American Legion Hall, 610 W 3rd St, Groom, TX 
  • August 23, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM at the Carson County Square House Museum, 207 Elsie Street, Panhandle, TX 
  • August 30, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM at Good Nites on the Square, 102 Trice Street, Claude, TX

The panel of speakers will be moderated by Deke Alexander, President of State National Bank and member of the TBA Board of Directors. The experts will share insights from their respective industries as Alexander asks questions on behalf of growers, farmers, and agriculture-related businesses. 

Hosted over lunch, the event provides attendees with the opportunity to hear firsthand, relevant information for their businesses and meet industry leaders. 

"The objective of State National Bank is to partner with the community in every way we can. With this series, we are bringing in specific experts that our farm, ranch, and agriculture business customers want to hear from, so they can receive valuable information and answers to their questions," said Deke Alexander of the newly launched series. "We wanted to ensure that everyone who wants to attend has the chance to hear this information, so we are holding the event three times, in Groom, Panhandle, and Claude, so hopefully, there is a date that works for everyone." 

Lance Ollinger, who is also Chairman of State National Bank, praised the initiative, stating, "Community farmers and businesses understand the local impacts of statewide, nationwide, and worldwide events. Having experts from outside the market share these insights provides much-needed value to our community." 

The Industry Insight Series events planned for August  the first in the series, with many more topics scheduled for future dates.
