Deke Alexander, President of State National Bank, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Texas Bankers Association (TBA), marking a significant milestone in his distinguished career. Recognized for his unwavering commitment to community banking and his dedication to serving others, Deke embodies the core values of the TBA.

With two decades of experience spanning various roles in successful community banks, Deke has garnered insights, as he says, "from the janitor closet to the Board room." His journey began at PointBank in Pilot Point, TX, and progressed through numerous leadership positions with community financial institutions, driving lending, financial, and strategic initiatives.
As President of State National Bank, Deke provides strategic direction and leadership pivotal to the institution's operations, expansion, and culture.
Sharing a familial legacy in banking, Deke's wife Samantha joins him in their commitment to furthering their families' heritage within the Texas Bankers Association. Beyond banking, the couple actively engages in community endeavors, advocating for education, supporting church initiatives, and prioritizing family-centric projects. Deke extends his civic involvement through directorial roles in the Groom Economic Development Corporation and Lions Club International, Groom Chapter.
Residing in Groom, Texas, with their two children, Deke and Samantha embody a commitment to service, both within banking and their local community.
